Your source for Telugu learning in the Des Moines region. With a thought that your mother tongue is the best means of empowering today’s kids in the goal of learning multiple languages, Des Moines Telugu Badi started as a formal non-profit organization in the year 2013.
Des Moines Telugu Badi is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about the Telugu language. The main goal of the organization is to preserve, maintain and perpetuate the heritage of Telugu Culture by imparting Telugu Language skills to anyone interested in learning the language, and to assist and promote literary, cultural, educational and community affairs of Telugu speaking people.
డె మోయిన్ ప్రాంతంలో తెలుగు నేర్చుకోవడానికి సరైన చోటికి చేరారు. నేటి పిల్లలకు బహు భాషలను నేర్పాలనే లక్ష్యంలో మాతృభాషయే మూలం అన్న ఆలోచనతో, డె మోయిన్ తెలుగు బడి 2013 సంవత్సరంలో అధికారిక లాభాపేక్షలేని సంస్థగా ప్రారంభమైంది.
డె మోయిన్ తెలుగు బడి అనేది తెలుగు భాష పట్ల మక్కువ చూపే స్వచ్ఛంద సేవకులు నడుపుతున్న లాభాపేక్షలేని సంస్థ. భాష నేర్చుకోవటానికి ఆసక్తి ఉన్న ఎవరికైనా తెలుగు భాషా నైపుణ్యాన్ని అందించడం ద్వారా తెలుగు సాంస్కృతిక వారసత్వాన్ని పరిరక్షించడం, నిర్వహించడం మరియు శాశ్వతం చేయడం ఇంకా తెలుగు మాట్లాడే ప్రజల సాహిత్య, సాంస్కృతిక, విద్యా, సామాజిక వ్యవహారాలకు సహాయం చేయడం మరియు ప్రోత్సహించడం సంస్థ యొక్క ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం.
Regular Classes
Every Sunday from 3 pm to 4:30pm. We are happy to announce that starting in academic year 2024-25, we will resume full in-person classes for all grades. For remote students that are outside the Des Moines area, we will continue to have them be fully remote.
Enrollments
Enrollments for 2024-25 class year are now CLOSED. No more enrollments are being accepted.
Volunteer Teachers
Des Moines Telugu Badi is run by passionate individuals that are interested in promoting Telugu culture and traditions. Any help is welcome. No help will be considered small. Des Moines Telugu Badi is actively looking for more teachers that can help teach the kids. Please email or contact at the email/number on this site if you are interested.
Silver Cord Volunteers
To encourage High School kids to give back to the community by serving helping during classes and other events organized by Des Moines Telugu Badi, we are offering silver cord hours to any high school kid that is eligible to earn them. Please contact us at admin@dsmtelugubadi.org if you are interested in being a student volunteer. The various types of activities that may be available are
