Goals
Writing
Children should be able to write all the guninthaalu for every letter. There will be some variations depending on the letter. These will be identified and explained in class. Children should also be able to write small words containing guninthaalu.
Reading
Children should be able to identify all the guninthaala gurthulu idependently. They should also be able to read simple words containing guninthaalu.
Oral/Comprehension
Children should be able to speak short sentences in Telugu. This includes using the correct vachanam, lingam, kaalam etc that will be taught as part of the syllabus. They will also be expected to answer in Telugu questions that are asked in Telugu. Poems will also be taught to help propagate out literature and children are expected to learn the poems and their meaning.
